Clark always lived by the same routine every day... He drove to work, he drove back, he watched TV, he went to sleep, he woke up, etc. He was not married, he didn't have friends, he was always serious and easily angered. When the 7-hour war started, he was hiding in his basement, waiting for help, but the only ones that came in there were the Combines. He was transfered to City 8, he lived there for 2 years, then he was transfered to City 18. His life was still the same routine, always. He was walking around on the streets, sleeping, talking to CPs and fellow Citizens. His life became even more boring, but he was used to being serious and boring, so he didn't notice the huge change... One day, he decided that he would make a change himself. He threw up a plan to attack a CP, but failed. He was almost killed, but the CP felt something in his chest... He understood that Clark is still a human, with emotions and the will to be free... He released Clark into District 6 and left back into District 2. Clark was amased... Though, he left District 6 after a short while of being alone and very sad. He met a new friend, her name was Amanda. They decided to save a friend that was trapped in a building he wasn't supposed to be in. They climbed through the window and got him out of there, but when they were climbing down, their friend got caught... He was interrogated and killed... The CPA now knew everything about Clark and Amanda. They decided that they must go into District 6 fast. They attacked a CP, and they won the fight. They left the CP there and entered District 6 themselves. After lots of scavenging, lots of days passing, Clark found a pistol and ammo to it. Clark decided to come out again, to see if he would find anything interesting back in District 2. He told Amanda that he was going to attack a CP and rob him. That would earn them more ammunition and food supplies, they were starving. Amanda refused that Clark should go there, but he still went there, with a promise that he will come back without any injuries... Amanda went to sleep, but couldn't, waiting for Clark. While she was in District 6, Clark prepared to attack the CP. He ran infront of the CP standing there, pointed his gun at the CP and threatened to shoot. Soon enough, another CP came, but he was already armed, unlike the first one. Luckily, Clark knew that the other CP would not risk a Unit, and the second CP dropped his weapon and awaited for Clark to finish. Clark was trying to get the CPs to remember their past, to get them to believe in humanity again, but it was hopeless. Both of the CPs pretended to cry, but they were still on the Union's side. After Clark turned away for a moment, the first CP knocked Clark's weapon towards the other one, shooting the second CP and killing him. Clark was really angered, he thought that he should've shot the first CP already, but couldn't, because he knew he was still a human... The CP managed to grab a pistol and shoot Clark in the knees and an arm before it was too late. Clark dropped down, heavily injured... He thought it was the end, he started to pray and cry in fear, he told the CP that God will save him. Clark told the CP that the humanity is still there, and that the he is going to lose the huge battle, he was trying to get the CP to come on his side... The CP told other Units to leave, that he would take care of Clark himself. After all the CPs had left, he knocked Clark out and took him to District 6 again. When Clark woke up, he said that Clark's words touched him, so, he had joined Clark's team. Amanda was still lying there, she couldn't sleep. She decided to stand up and search for Clark. The CP took off his uniform and said his name. His name was Alexey Dragunov. They both met Amanda, trying to find Clark. Alexey and Amanda met each other, though they seemed not to trust each other so much. Alexey and Clark found lots of food supplies inside an old pizza hut, they were secretly giving the food to starving citizens, but one day, they got spotted by a DvL, they had to run, they hid themselves inside a small room, with only 1 exit: the window. They barricaded themselves in. When the DvL came, she talked in Amanda's voice, Clark believed her, but Alexey warned Clark that it is the DvL. When the DvL breached the door, both Alexey and Clark managed to escape through the window, after major attacks against Clark and Alexey, they had been forced to hide in District 3, Clark had reconfigured the force field to District 3, making it malfunction and not letting even CPs in. They didn't know what to do... They thought that Amanda was forever gone now, they thought that the CPs got her, and so, they are still sitting there, not knowing what to do, run back into District 6 or keep hiding in District 3. After long days, their food supplies were emptied... They needed to go back to District 6 or District 2... Just as they were leaving, they heard a message from Dispatch "Attention, Ground Units! The Helix DvL risked his life and was de-serviced by a 647E, but he managed to Amputate the highly dangerous 647E before it was too late!"... "That's it," - they thought. - "Amanda is gone..." - After they had left District 3, they decided to stay in District 2 to at least get some food from Ration packets... One day, while living in District 2, the CCH got lit on fire... A Unit - 719 was inside the building with a Citizen at that time... Alexey's brother - Artiom Dragunov... Clark Donowan realised that and couldn't turn back... He climbed a lamp post as the Unit and Artiom were near to litting on fire. Clark managed to get them out with a rope they had... The Grid DvL came just in time to see Clark as he was standing on the ground with 719 and Artiom... Clark thought it was the end, 2 Units around him while he was disarmed... The Grid DvL talked to Clark and said that he had gained Amnesty because of saving a Unit. Clark was released, thanking the DvL a lot. He left into District 6 and all the connections associated with Clark were broken. He was now alone - Amanda was dead and Alexey was gone... Clark decided that it is not good to risk his life anymore... He built a base and stayed there alone.
