Scanner Roleplay Guide Empty
PostSubject: Scanner Roleplay Guide   Scanner Roleplay Guide EmptySun Jun 02, 2013 6:48 am

Scanners are operated by a simple AI and joined to the Dispatch super computer, thus fly fairly simply and reporting crimes as they see them in quite a robotic sense.

You should patrol around your designated district and report ANY violations you see using this format or something alike:

DISPATCH radios: <:: CITIZEN JAKE ROBERTS - AUDIO VIOLATION COMMITTED - 10-20: WAREHOUSE ::>

NOT DISPATCH radios: <:: A Citizen is yelling, level 4 violation, 10-20 is Warehouse. Backup needed. ::>

You should also occasionally ID and photograph citizens so it is easier to identify them later, but do not:
Spam scanner noises (mouse buttons)
Spam flash (R button)
Once you start running out of power or your attention is needed elsewhere, return your scanner to the scanner rack.

If your scanner is ever attacked, it will engage the self-destruct to avoid being captured and reprogrammed. It will drive itself into the floor near the attacker and explode.

hi there. Have some additions.
AIRWATCH/SCANNER GUIDE.
GENERAL INFORMATION.
Scanners are the mechanical presences of the Nexus A.I or Dispatch Overvoice; whatever one would like to call them. Hundreds of them can be dispatched at a single time when for example; a Judgement Waiver/Autonomous Judgement Waiver is enabled; immediately putting the local Nexus on lockdown; dispatching all AirWatch units possible towards the sector of origin.

GENERAL USE.
In non-JW situations; they’re usually dispatched to command/order units around in most cases. Other than this, they serve as the eyes and ears of the Nexus A.I/Dispatch Overvoice; allowing the voice of it to sound through them towards the units (radio-wise). In extreme situations such as stated above; they are used as what I covered earlier and could be used to suppress fire/tactical purposes such as distracting rebels; flashing them and so on.

HOW TO TALK AS ONE.
First off, Medical Newspeak. It’s more important than your life. What I mean with this, is an example of most of the /dispatch voicecommands. Keep in mind, this is my second opinion on what everything usually means; not the official wording but it should sound like it.

[i]"Attention ground units. Anti-citizen reported in this community. CODE: LOCK; CAUTERIZE; STABILIZE."
"You are charged with anti-civil activity level one. Protection unit prosecution CODE: DUTY; SWORD; OPERATE."
"Protection team alert, evidence of anti-civil activity in this community. CODE: ASSEMBLE, PLAN, CONTAIN."
"Individual, you are charged with capital malcompliance. Anti-citizen status approved."
"Individual, you are now charged with socio-endangerment level five, cease evasion immediately. Receive your verdict immediately."
...and so further. Most likely after reading this you’d be able to create some yourself; and form multiple in one.

LOCK: All exits/entrances should either be clamped or locked with either a bio-lock or a barricade.
CAUTERIZE: Pacify/murder/amputate the threat at all costs from the Civil Populace.
ASSEMBLE: All units must co-operate together; listen to their higher-ups or Dispatch.
PLAN: Dispatch will inform you/someone else will gather up a plan/strategy to find the threat.
AMPUTATE: Murder the organism.
CONFIRM: Confirm yourself that the threat has been killed/the correspondent judgement has been assigned.
STABILIZE: Stabilize the community in order the situational code is SC; GREEN. Do this at all costs, at all times.
ISOLATE: Make sure the threat comes with no citizens in contact to prevent Civil Infection.
EXPOSE: Get the target out of his secret place and so further; get citizens to find him and report him.
ADMINISTER: Administer his verdict to the correspondent transgression.
SACRIFICE: Sacrifice yourself if you need to.
COAGULATE: Team up, create PT's with others.
DUTY: Do what you need to do; don't do anything other than following your orders.
SWORD: Use all your weaponry you have to kill off the threat.
MIDNIGHT: Radio-silence.
INFORM: Inform important things over radio.
CO-OPERATE: Co-operate with all your fellow units.
RESPOND: Respond to everything you've been assigned; respond in radio and so further.
ENQUIRE: Enquire information about the threat; re-educate and or kill if needed.
STERILIZE: Destroy every object, weapon, bodies and so on by use of incineration.
